CAA's Young Nashville Party

THE EVENT

This October, the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) Task Force will host its 12th Annual Young Nashville Party (YNP). The event will bring together celebrities and professionals from across the entertainment and sports industries to help raise money to support Communities in Schools of Tennessee at Nashville (CISTN).

THE CAUSE

The mission of Communities in Schools (CIS) is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Through school-based coordinators, CIS connects students and their families to critical community resources tailored to local needs. Working in nearly 2,400 schools in some of the most challenged communities nationwide, CIS has become the nation’s leading dropout prevention organization, and the only one proven to increase graduation rates and decrease dropout rates.

Launched in 2012, CISTN at Nashville serves seventeen schools in Nashville, reaching more than 7,500 students and their families, offering parent engagement events, anti-bullying programs, college visits, school uniform distribution and tutoring programs, among other initiatives.
